I went to work on the Model A chassis I am doing as a job, oops - wrong steel so then I completed as much on the intake/exhaust of my T before I need to get some more steel.
So I shuffled things around to work on the other job I have - '32 Tudor and then my own '32 roadster. Awesome weather is great to have whilst working on a roadster and Ted & wal turned up in Ted's Model A on Deuce rails and then Dale Clothier and his brother Pete turned up in his roadster "HAMB" and we fiddled with the rear spring to make the suspension work better.
Next up on my 32 is finish the shock mounts and mount the headlights.....

Our milestone 500th edition is celebrated by our biggest magazine ever. Packed with history and features this is most likely the most collectible hot rod magazine in NZ history.
Already the feedback to this has been outstanding. Features like Hornblow's coupe and gasser, Project T history, Pinkee's 32 Tudor, Squeak's '40 coupe, Jeff Klein's '32 and the history of the Queen City Roadsters make this a very special read! Since starting my 32 and building my T I have really enjoyed building and fabricating stuff. I am doing work on a couple of other cars and really enjoy it. I would like to do more to fund the build of my 32 and whatever other projects are on the go. I can do chassis work to any stage, modifications, traditional stuff a specialty, and also trad headers and exhaust
Hosted by the Scroungers Car Club, these guys love traditional hot rods and history so they decided to have a show to celebrate it. Its become one of the must do events on the calendar. These pics are from this 2008 & 2009 event at Rosebank Road Speedway, Avondale, Auckland. The 2010 event is on Easter Sunday.
Great bunch of guys, cool cars and great atmosphere.....
